Reuven came to Montreal Canada, with a few hundred dollars in his pocket, as a student of Economics and then got his MBA degree from Concordia University as a finance major. Reuven then worked with Canpro Investments (its founder was listed in the Forbes 400) considered one of the larger mall & office development companies in Canada. There Reuven rose to become the COO of the firm. In the 1990's Reuven became the CEO of a Los Angeles based development company specializing in multifamily, condo & retail construction and investments. In early 2000 Reuven co-founded his own multifamily investment and management company, Blue Rock Partners, which later morphed into today's Blue Magma Residential. Over the past two decades Reuven, his partners, and his team acquired, renovated, redeveloped, financed, leased and managed in excess of 22,000 apartment units with total acquisitions in excess of $1.8 B

Reuven's main passion is fatherhood to two special sons, followed by a passion for making a positive impact on his surroundings, spreading positive energy and not least of which, his strong care for the business, his residents and for Blue Magma's team members.

Carol McAllister, CPA

Chief Finacial Officer

Carol McAllister brings over 25 years of finance leadership experience with a diverse background from public accounting, insurance, technology, investments, manufacturing, and financial services industries. She is a strategic leader with hands-on knowledge in establishing financial controls and managing Accounting/HR/Compliance functions from start-up and private equity-backed ventures to the consolidation of multinational operations. She is particularly adept at streamlining processes, reorganizing, and motivating staff. Carol is a graduate of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Carol has been a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years. She loves Florida and will not live anywhere else. She believes in being a contributing member of her community. She has served as Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Council of PTA/PTSAs for 3 years. She has been very involved with the Toys For Tots program as a distribution site coordinator for 6 years and will continue to support it for as long as they need her.

Randy Moses

Principal and Director of Acquisitions

Randy Moses began his career in real estate in 1978 as a licensed Real Estate broker in Montreal Canada.

In 1985 he joined the Rosdev Group a large private real estate development and investment company as director of acquisitions. He was responsible for the acquisitions of dozens of hotels, industrial, retail and office properties worth hundreds of millions of dollars in Canada and the United States. He also was responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of single and multi-tenant commercial assets in the United States. In 1990 he joined Southwest Properties Group in Dallas Texas as a partner and Senior Vice President. During his 16 years there he oversaw the acquisition, capitalization, management, and development of 4.5 million square feet of value add multi-tenant light industrial, 1500 multi-family units including several ground-up projects, the redevelopment of prime retail in Dallas and throughout the southern United States. In 2006 MR Moses sold his interests in the Southwest Properties Group of companies and returned to Montreal and the Rosdev group as partner and director of U.S acquisitions. Over the next five years, he oversaw the acquisition, finance and asset management of numerous industrial and multi-family properties in the Southeastern U.S including many in partnership with Blue Rock Partners of Tampa Florida and it’s successor Blue Magma Residential.

He has lived and worked in Florida since 2010 and together with Blue Magma has overseen the acquisition and capitalization of over 5000 multi-family units and 1,000,000 square feet of industrial space as a principal.

Joyce Prince

Regional Director, Multi-State

Joyce A. Prince brings 38 years of experience as a housing professional. She has a diverse background in multifamily housing management which encompasses the following entities: Luxury, Federal Subsidized, Tax Credit, Public, Mod Rehab, Rural Development, Home, Sail, Bond, and Conventional Housing. She began her career in 1984 with Demco formerly known as Demetree Builders, as a leasing consultant. Thereafter, Joyce was promoted to community manager within her first year of service. After two years of entrepreneurship as a licensed mortgage broker business via Family First Mortgage, Joyce joined Carroll Management Group as a Regional in November 2010.

Joyce’s success in the industry emanates from her professional etiquette, dedication, self-motivation, commitment, and contribution to company triumphs. Joyce has climbed the industry ladder from a leasing consultant to her present position as Regional.

Joyce’s accomplishments and recognitions have led her to accept many recognizable awards across the industry. In addition to her professional achievements and career strengths, Joyce is an outstanding and natural problem solver, she shows ambition, dedication, and compassion to the families she serves and is an exceptional individual who takes pride in her profession. Joyce is also currently procuring her Real Estate License.

James Casseus

Regional & Tax Credit Portfolio Director GA

James Casseus is a native Floridian and studied psychology at the University of Florida A&M. After 10 years of working in property management, he decided to join Blue Magma residential in 2018 as the manager of the Park at Palatine in Atlanta, GA driven by his passion for working with affordable communities. He has worked with various types of housing programs, including conventional, low-income tax credit and project-based communities. James was promoted to Regional Manager in September 2018 and oversees communities in College Park Ga, Stone Mountain Ga, Union City GA, and Covington GA.

Jana Simmons

Director of Financial Compliance and Business Development

Jana Simmons is a Florida native with 15+ years of experience in the housing industry. She is a seasoned property management leader with expertise spanning operations management, financial management, sales, marketing, and business development. Prior to joining Blue Magma, Jana was the Renovations Director for a large construction company where she oversaw new building projects and renovations.

Jana joined Blue Magma in 2016 as a Community Director, prior to her promotion to a dual role serving concurrently as Regional Property Manager and Director of Training, where she led a team of 2 Senior Property Managers, 4 Property Managers, a Regional Maintenance Supervisor, and a Marketing & Training Specialist. Under her leadership, she directed a training program for 180+ team members, while also supporting long-term planning and portfolio growth.

Jana was then promoted to Director of Operations, where she managed a team of 4 Regional Property Managers and oversaw 8,000 units. Furthermore, Jana managed 12 multifamily property sales, completed 4 lease-ups, and directed multiple construction and property rehab projects.

Jana was recently promoted to Director of Financial Compliance and Business Development where she spearheads all facets of financial reporting and business development. Jana is tasked with leading acquisitions, dispositions, and all related due diligence, while also negotiating and managing contracts for goods and services. In addition, Jana ensures accurate and timely financial reports for all investors to ensure financial compliance.

Jana holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management, Project Manager certification, and CAM license. She is currently pursuing her CAPS and LIHTC designations.

Sharifa Lawson

Director of Marketing

Sharifa Lawson was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Athens, Georgia. Later that year she made the decision to take on the challenge. She trained, motivated and guided her team to their first year of 100% occupancy.

Sharifa quickly decided she loved property management and made it a priority to study, analyze and refine not only her own expertise but that of the companies she served. Her diligence and innovation have landed her many roles including leasing and marketing manager, assistant manager, property manager, training and marketing coordinator and leasing director. Through her engineering, Sharifa has transformed company brands and cultures, heightened reviews and social media engagement, surged closing ratios and conversion rates, and ultimately supported companies in their quest to their highest potential. Today, Sharifa serves Blue Magma Residential as a Marketing Director while continuing to develop her own multifamily training and consulting firm.

Tammy Reno

Accounting Manager

Tammy Reno comes to Blue Magma Residential with over 25 years of accounting experience and a diverse background in nonprofit, retail and tax. Prior to joining the company, Tammy served as an assistant controller for a large retail company where she maintained the company’s motor fuel accounts payables and prepared monthly, quarterly and annual motor fuel tax returns for five states. In addition, she was responsible for bank reconciliation, weekly key executive indicator performance reports, profit & loss statements for company-owned locations, and a host of other responsibilities.

Elizabeth Concepcion

Elizabeth Concepcion brings over 25 years of extensive accounting and treasury management experience in various capacities, from senior accountant to assistant controller. Prior to joining the Blue Magma family, she served in the industries of high-tech manufacturing, government contracting, construction development and restaurant & hospitality. Liz is a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and has been a resident of the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years. She enjoys rock concerts, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. A true asset to our organization, Liz currently acts as our Financial Reporting Manager.
